Farro Chili Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked farro
  • 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper
  • Taco shells
  • Garnishes: shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions (if desired), and sour cream

Make It

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef. Add farro, tomato sauce, water, cider vinegar, cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne, chili powder, and oregano. Simmer until thick, about 5 minutes, then season with salt and pepper. Serve in taco shells topped with shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions (if desired), and sour cream.
