Peppy Mary

This spicy tomato juice drink is quick to make. Serve it for brunch or summer parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups low-sodium tomato juice
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice or lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • Few drops bottled hot pepper sauce
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Short celery stalks (optional)
  • Coarsely ground black pepper (optional)

Make It

1. In a small pitcher, stir together tomato juice, lime or lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, and hot pepper sauce. If desired, serve over ice cubes. If desired, garnish with celery and sprinkle with black pepper.
