- 1 quart strawberries (about 6-1/2 cups), washed and hulled
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur OR: 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1. Combine berries, sugar, liqueur and lemon juice in food processor. Whirl until pureed. Refrigerate until ready to use. Spoon over fresh fruit, ice cream, sorbets and pound cake.
