Makes 4 servings at 56o each.
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly butter 6-cup baking dish.
2. Peel, core and slice apples. Combine bread crumbs, sugar and cinnamon. Layer half of apples in dish. Cover with half the crumb mixture. Pour over apple juice. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
3. Repeat with remaining apples and crumbs; dot top with 2 tablespoons butter. Cover with foil. Bake in 375 degrees F oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil; bake 30 minutes longer, or until apples are tender.
