December Cupcake
Yield: 16 cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 ounces) plus 1 cup vanilla frosting
  • 16 yellow gumdrops
  • 16 cupcakes
  • 16 green gumdrops
  • 16 mini cupcakes
  • Nonpareil sprinkles
  • Sugar
  • Green icing color

Make It

1. Roll yellow gumdrops out onto sugared surface. Cut out 3/4-inch stars. Tint frosting green; spoon into a pastry bag fitted with a 1/4-inch star tip. Pipe frosting so that it hangs over larger cupcakes. Continue piping, to cover. Place green gumdrops in centers of mini cupcakes; pipe as before. Stack mini cupcakes on top of larger cupcakes, and decorate with nonpareils. Top with yellow stars.
