Snowflake Chips
Yield: about 62 cookies Prep 25 mins Bake 350°F 8 mins per batch

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup miniature white chocolate baking pieces
  • 1/3 cup jumbo snowflake sprinkles

Make It

1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper; set aside. In a large bowl beat butter and sugars together with an electric mixer on medium to high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add egg and vanilla; beat until smooth. Gradually add flour and baking soda and mix until just blended. Stir in white baking pieces. Shape dough into 3/4-inch balls and arrange about 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Flatten slightly. Press 2 to 3 snowflake sprinkles on top of each.

2. Bake about 8 minutes or until cookies are just golden around edges. Remove and cool on a wire rack. Makes about 62 cookies.
