  • Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper; set aside. In a large bowl beat butter and sugars together with an electric mixer on medium to high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add egg and vanilla; beat until smooth. Gradually add flour and baking soda and mix until just blended. Stir in white baking pieces. Shape dough into 3/4-inch balls and arrange about 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Flatten slightly. Press 2 to 3 snowflake sprinkles on top of each.

  • Bake about 8 minutes or until cookies are just golden around edges. Remove and cool on a wire rack. Makes about 62 cookies.
