  • 1/4 teaspoon coconut flavoring
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3 cups unsweetened flake coconut
  • Candied cherries, optional

Make It

1. Prepare Black Forest Squares dough (on omitting cocoa powder, both kinds of chocolate morsels, cherries and shortening. Substitute 1/4 teaspoon coconut flavoring for vanilla. Reduce flour from 1 cup to 3/4 cup. Stir in 1 cup unsweetened flake coconut. Divide dough among thirty-size 1-1/4-inch aluminum-foil baking cups; sprinkle with another 2 cups coconut, dividing equally among baking cups. Top with candied cherries, if desired. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 20 minutes or until lightly golden. Tent with foil.
