Place banana in bottom of banana split dish. Arrange scoops of ice cream on top. Drizzle chocolate ice cream with Chocolate Sauce, strawberry ice cream with Strawberry Sauce and vanilla ice cream with Chocolate Sauce. Top with whipped cream, nuts and cherry.
Combine 4 squares (1 ounce each) semisweet chocolate or 2/3 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1/3 cup light corn syrup, 2 tablespoons butter or margarine and 1/8 teaspoon salt in small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until chocolate and butter are melted. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Let cool slightly. Makes about 1-1/4 cups.
Thaw 16-ounce package frozen strawberries in syrup. Puree in food processor just until smooth. Force through a strainer into a small bowl, discarding any solids. Stir in 1-1/2 cups coarsely chopped hulled fresh strawberries (about 1 pint). Stir in 1 tablespoon light corn syrup. Makes about 2 cups.
