Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding

  • 1 loaf (16 oz) cinnamon raisin bread, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 cups chocolate milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar

Make It

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees . Coat a 9x2-inch square baking pan or 2-quart square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

2. In a large bowl, toss bread with 3/4 cup of the mini chips. In a medium bowl, whisk together chocolate milk, eggs, brown sugar and vanilla.

3. Pour milk mixture into bread mixture, then transfer to prepared baking pan, pressing down lightly. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup mini chips.

4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Dust with confectioners' sugar just before serving.
