1. Heat broiler.
2. Heat curry powder in small dry skillet 1 minute, or until fragrant. Add to mayonnaise; reserve half of the curry mayonnaise for bread.
3. Place chicken breasts on oiled broiler-pan rack. Brush half of remaining mayonnaise over chicken. Broil 5 minutes. Turn chicken over; brush with remaining mayonnaise. Broil 5 minutes.
4. Peel and slice 1 mango. Slice chicken crosswise. Spread pumpernickel bread with reserved curry mayonnaise. Assemble sandwiches, dividing chicken and mango evenly.
