Chicken Strips
Servings: 6 to 8 Yield: 1 cup sauce Prep 10 mins Bake 350°F 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup nonfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups cornflake crumbs
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
Honey-Mustard Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Make It

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Whisk egg, milk, mustard, salt and pepper in bowl. Whisk in flour. Place crumbs in pan. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then crumbs. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Lightly coat chicken with cooking spray.

3. Bake in 350 degrees F oven 20 minutes, until cooked through. Serve with sauce.

Honey-Mustard Sauce:

4. Mix honey, Dijon mustard, reduced-fat mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Makes 1 cup.
