Cheese Biscuits
Yield: 30 biscuits Prep 10 mins Bake 350°F 15 mins


  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Make It

1. Mix flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in medium-size bowl. Stir in heavy cream and cheese just until dough comes together.

2. Knead dough a few turns on generously floured surface. With rolling pin or hands, roll or pat dough out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into desired size and shape. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Brush the biscuits with melted butter.

3. Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
