Pecan Tarts

Ingredients

Dough
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
Filling
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Make It

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Dough:

2. Beat butter and cheese until creamy. Beat in flour. Press heaping teaspoon in bottom and up sides of 24 mini muffin cups.

Filling:

3. Mix sugar, egg, butter, vanilla in bowl; add pecans. Fill cups.

4. Bake in 350 degree F oven 20 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
