Black-Bean Hummus

Black-Bean Hummus
Yield: about 4 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 (15-oz.) cans garbanzo beans, drained
  • 1 (15-oz.) can black beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, plus more to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Make It

1. Put all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade and puree. Add more salt to taste.
