Sirloin:
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1 sirloin steak (about 1-1/2 pounds, 1 inch thick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Sauce:

  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour mixed with 3 tablespoons water

Make It

1. Heat grill or broiler.

Sirloin:

2. In resealable plastic food-storage bag or glass dish, combine red wine and sirloin; seal bag. Marinate steak at room temperature for 15 minutes. Remove sirloin from bag. Season on both sides with salt and pepper.
