Ingredients

  • 4 pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups loosely packed parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried marjoram
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup cooked quick brown rice

  • 1 cup dried bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup milk

Make It

1. Combine beef, onion, parsley, Worcestershire, basil, marjoram, salt and pepper in large bowl.

2. Remove one-fourth of mixture to bowl. Mix in cooked rice. Shape into 4 equal patties; wrap in freezer wrap; freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in refrigerator.

For Add-Ins:

3. Stir eggs, bread crumbs and milk into remaining beef mixture until blended. Divide into 3 equal batches. Flatten; wrap batches separately; freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in refrigerator. Makes 4 burger patties and 3 batches (12 servings) ground beef.
