1. Marinate beef cubes, parboiled pearl onions, red pepper and small zucchini in canola oil, lemon juice, cumin and chopped cilantro.
2. Alternate meat and vegetables on 2 skewers; broil on grill or broiler pan 6 to 7 minutes about 4 inches from heat, turning once. Serve with hot 6-inch whole-wheat pita.
