  • Heat oven to 350°. Line a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan with nonstick foil. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, wheat germ, baking powder and salt. In a large bowl, whisk eggs and oil. Add other ingredients as directed below.

  • Add 2 tbsp wheat germ to dry ingredients. Add 3 very ripe bananas, peeled and mashed, 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar, 1/3 cup almond butter and 1/4 cup apple butter to wet ingredients. Transfer to prepared pan and top with 1/4 cup sliced almonds. Bake at 350° for 60 minutes.
