Parmesan Puffs

  • 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets

Make It

1. Combine Parmesan cheese, ground red pepper, and salt. Mix egg white and water for egg wash; brush over sheet of puff pastry. Sprinkle 1 cup cheese mixture over pastry; press to adhere. Brush another pastry sheet with egg wash; place, wash side down, over cheese. Cut into 64 pieces; pinch all edges to seal. Place on baking sheet. Brush with wash; sprinkle with remaining cheese mix. Bake at 400 degrees F for 12 minutes. Makes 64.
