Ingredients
- 2 package (7 ounces each) farmers cheese
Lemon Cheese:- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Strips of lemon rind (no bitter white pith)
- Chopped fresh parsley
Great Garlic Cheese:- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons dried rubbed sage
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon red-wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Cracked black pepper
- Assorted bread party rounds and crackers
Make It
1. Unwrap the packages of the farmers cheese.
Prepare Lemon Cheese: 2. Place 1 package of the farmers cheese, the cream cheese, lemon rind, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper in food processor. Whirl until smooth. Scoop the cheese into a small serving bowl. Garnish with lemon rind and chopped fresh parsley.
Prepare Great Garlic Cheese: 3. Place the second package of farmers cheese, the cream cheese, sage, garlic, red-wine vinegar, salt and pepper in food processor. Whirl at high speed until smooth. Scoop the cheese into a small serving bowl. Garnish with cracked black pepper.
4. Serve the cheeses at room temperature with bread party rounds and crackers.
