The eyeballs on the Erwin Beanie and the octopus legs on the Poseidon Beanie can come loose, posing a potential choking hazard.
This recall involves about 370 children's knitted hats. The Erwin Beanie is primarily green and white yarn knitted to configure a frog with white eyeballs and a red smile. The Poseidon Beanie comes in several colors of yarn and has hand sewn turtles, whales, and octopuses attached to the beanie. The beanies have the firm's logos, "Ambler" or "A," printed on a fabric tag.
Specialty sports and ski shops nationwide from September 2008 through November 2008 for about $30.
Immediately stop using the beanies and return them to Ambler Mountain for a free product replacement or cut off the frog's eyes and the octopus legs and throw them away. For more information, contact Ambler at (888) 267-6968 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. MT Monday to Friday or email Ambler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
