Pregnancy Month by Month: Month 5

During month 5 of pregnancy, you can finally opt to find out Baby's gender. Meanwhile, you may be having not-so-desirable pregnancy side effects. Here are some tips to dealing with your pregnant life.

[MUSIC]. This month, all those baby girl or baby boy parts are finally in order. And do you know what that means? You can finally find out the gender of your baby, if you want. If you're carrying a little lady, strange but true, she's already got reproductive eggs inside her teensy, tiny little body. Eggs that could one day end up being the building blocks for your grandchildren. Yeah seriously, pregnancy, it's a little bit like the Twilight Zone. You, dear lady, are probably peeing like a racehorse right about now because your kidneys are working overtime. So stay hydrated, and sit closer to the bathroom if you need to. Also, seriously consider panty liners. I know, panty liners. Between your second trimester ultrasound, which can take forever, guzzling that sticky sweet stuff to find out if you're suddenly diabetic, dealing with your great aunt Bertha's unique baby shower ideas, and then oh, I don't know, work, general errands, making sure you don't have spinach stuck in your teeth, you've got a lot going on. Take a nap. Go to bed early. Take the whole weekend off. You've never had a better excuse than now. Have a restful few weeks, and we'll see you next month. [MUSIC]
