Millions of women feed their baby colostrum every year, but do you know what it is, and why it's so beneficial to your baby?


What the heck? Colostrum? Would that be colostrum? Colostrum [MUSIC] Men that's C O L O Prefix that means it's definitely something to do with poop. It sounds like, I don't know, some sort of discharge. Gosh, I have no idea. Maybe it's the mom's poop? Colostrum is Something that you don't wanna have too much of. Something bad that would happen during the pregnancy, we gotta do something about this, looks like she's have a colostrum. Something with maybe colon maybe butts. It sounds like a disaster, like maybe colostrum. That's what happens when you give birth, you push out and your colon explodes. [LAUGH] Colostrum is the first molecule. It means breast produce and pregnancy. And right after her baby is born. This antibody rich liquid gold. Really? Is likely to be thick and yellowish. Well, that's unpleasant. Ew, and that's what the babies eat? How long does it last? So I'm assuming that means it's a good thing to drink? Can the baby drink this first milk? Wow, women are fascinating.
