Mila Kunis, who has been pretty buttoned up about some details surrounding her new addition with Ashton Kutcher (and outspoken about others!), revealed a piece of info about new baby girl Wyatt that can serve as a sound piece of advice to any expecting mama out there!

She told Ellen DeGeneres that her baby girl came to the world as a big, bouncing bundle of joy—weighing in at a substantial nine and a half pounds.

And because of that, "We skipped the newborn stage," the star revealed. "Newborn never happened. Newborn diapers never happened. And newborn clothes never happened. Zero to three!" Oops! So much for any adorably tiny baby outfits she may have gotten while she was pregnant.

As a new mom to twins, typically born smaller, I had the opposite experience. I didn't realize there was a substantial difference in size between NB clothes and 0-3 month clothes—they sounded synonymous to me! So I brought my babes home from the hospital in clothes they absolutely swam in, making for very silly photo opps.

But Mila's point is a good one: When excited mamas-to-be register for baby gear or go on shopping sprees ahead of our deliveries, we risk loading up on a bunch of stuff our babes may never even need for a single second.

So a word to the wise: Enjoy those pre-baby sprees... but keep the tags on, and file those receipts carefully! Right, mommy Mila?!
