Guess what other famous Bachelor alum is expecting a baby?
Bachelor Nation just keeps on growing! Hot off the heels of news that former Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and her final rose winner J.P. Rosenbaum are expecting baby #2, a girl this time, another alum of the reality love franchise is getting ready to welcome a future suitor.
Michael Stagliano, who famously dated Bachelorette Jillian Harris on the fifth season of the show, is set to become a first-time dad: Emily, his wife of two years, is pregnant.
So excited to share the good news. And it's two fold. 1. Today is our two year anniversary and we are in LEEERV! 2. We are having a BABY BOY! Whaow! Something is in the water out there for the Bachelor Crew. @desireesiegfried @_jprosenbaum @ashleylynnrosenbaum @seanloweksu @catherinegiudici @alifedotowsky @jillian.harris good things! @emilystag and I are beyond excited, thank you for all the love and support Bachelor Fans. @people has the exclusive interview. "So excited to share the good news," Michael captioned an adorable pregnancy reveal photo on Instagram. He added, "And it's two fold. 1. Today is our two year anniversary and we are in LEEERV! 2. We are having a BABY BOY! Whaow! Something is in the water out there for the Bachelor Crew."
Indeed, there must be, as several other former cast members are getting ready to welcome babies of their own. Well-heeled contestant Erica Rose is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Galen Gentry. And don't forget Sean and Catherine Lowe, who found love on the show's seventeenth season and are getting close to their due date with their first child, as is former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky, who announced she is officially on modified bed rest at 32-weeks pregnant.
These babies will join recent Bachelor Nation additions from memorable dater Ashley Salter, who just welcomed son Brooks with her fiancé Austin Brannen. Melissa Rycroft also recently became a third-time mom, and Deanna Stagliano, who is married to Michael's brother Stephen, just became a second-time mom.
Phew! As for Michael, his wife says it's actually Deanna and Stephen's children who have made him feel like he's ready to be a father. "Michael wasn't a big fan of holding babies. He was afraid of hurting them! [But] when Addison came along, and then Austin, he put away all the hesitancy that he had before," she told People magazine.
They are also ready with a baby name when their son is born in November, because they've been talking about it since their third date!
