Christiana Sandoval is using her illustrations to tell the story of her strange new adventure called motherhood—and it is SO relatable.

Christiana Sandoval was a children's illustrator before she started having kids. Now she's putting that talent to good use with her hilarious doodles that tell the story of her journey through pregnancy and new motherhood."Current status—walrus who can't get up," she captioned this one, which she posted on her Facebook page:

Too funny! And also spot on for Sandoval, whose pregnancy was not an easy one.

"I had severe morning sickness for 20 weeks and gestational diabetes," she explained to Inspire More. "Needless to say it wasn't the glowy, magical, ice-cream and bacon filled pregnancy that I had always dreamed of."

The talented mama was also plagued with nosebleeds while preggers, and admits that she really didn't do any research prior to having kids, so all the changes in her body caught her off guard. Which is why she began using her doodles as a fun outlet to tell the story of her strange adventures, never imagining that they would be other parents out there who totally felt her pain.

"As I was posting my doodles, it was amazing all the women who reached out who had found the illustrations relatable," she explained. "I want my doodles to be humorous for everyone, but also supportive to the ladies going through the process themselves. Because let's be honest, parenting is HARD! But it's also AWESOME! Life isn't so bad if you can laugh at the ridiculous stuff."
