This Mom-to-Be Told Her Husband That She's Pregnant On-Camera & It Was Adorable
This dad-to-be had the sweetest reaction when he learned he's about to become a father.
When a woman from Omaha, Nebraska named Chelsie Morales found out she was pregnant, she knew she’d have to find a special way to reveal the big news to her husband, Will. Four days later, she did just that.
Chelsie reached out to Kara Fishbaugh of Kara Quinn Photography, and the two put a master plan into action. Chelsie told Will they’d won a free photo shoot. She even had the photographer send a fake email congratulating them on the win! And when the couple found themselves in front of the camera, she shared the amazing news.
“The announcement was all Chelsie's idea,” Fishbaugh told Parents. “Together, we orchestrated the entire shoot down to the minute she was able to reveal the news.”
Chelsie told Will the plan was for each of them to write three words to describe the other on chalkboards, then turn around and reveal the words to one another. But while Will’s board had the words “beautiful,” “witty,” and “smart” written on it, Chelsie board held an even sweeter message: “You’re going to be a daddy.”
“His face was priceless! When Chelsie turned her chalkboard around, it actually took him a long couple of seconds to actually realize what hers said,” Fishbaugh said. “He was looking for three words that described him best but what he read was ‘You're going to be a daddy.’ He really had no idea what he was in for…Tears were flowing and hugs were being shared. It was amazing.”
The couple is due to welcome their baby in February 2018, and if the photographer’s take is any indication, they’re going to be wonderful parents.

“They're the best. They are just as beautiful inside as they are on the outside,” she said. “They genuinely shared one of the most precious moments with each other, and I am so happy I was able to be there to capture it. It was one of the best moments I have ever been a part of and I am so happy we were able to pull it off. Chelsie held the news for a LONG four days from her husband so you can imagine the excitement on the wife's end as well!”
