This 'Hunger Games' Star Just Announced a Pregnancy on the Red Carpet!
The London premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 was about more than J Law's accidental lip lock with fellow actress Natalie Dormer! It turns out there was another surprise for fans waiting to see their favorite stars on the red carpet: Actor Sam Claflin and his wife are going to have a baby!
Claflin, who plays Finnick Odair in the Hunger Games series, proudly posed for pictures with his wife, gorgeous English actress Laura Haddock, while patting her oh-so-perfectly accessorized burgeoning belly. This will be the first baby for the couple, who have been married since 2013. And clearly the soon-to-be parents were gaga over their news, and each other, because many photos taken of them that night were adorably, enviably, sickly affectionate. (Okay, fine, we're a little jelly.)
Claflin is not the only parent in the cast of the hugely successful movie franchise. Elizabeth Banks, who plays Effie Trinket, is a mom to two little boys, and Julianne Moore (President Coin) has two kiddos as well. Stanley Tucci (Caesar Flickerman) recently became a first-time dad when he and his wife Felicity Blunt (Emily's sister!) had a baby boy last year.
Congrats to Claflin and Haddock for joining the club! Based on that red carpet display of joy, the odds are strongly in your favor that you will be great parents.
