The expecting couple channeled the infamous painter to share their pregnancy announcement with the world, proving there are no mistakes, just happy little accidents.
Looking for a kinder, gentler way to announce your pregnancy? Take a cue from this innovative couple, who shared their baby news with a Bob Ross-inspired photo bound to make you smile. And feel all mellowed out, man.
The LOL photo, which was posted to Reddit by a friend, shows a dad-to-be sporting a "Rosslike" wig, and painting an ultrasound image on his wife's belly. A caption on the picture says, "We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents." The baby is due in October.
The reveal, which pays homage to the awesomely-soothing-to-watch show "Joy of Painting" has gone viral, having been viewed more than 22,000 times. And the post has perhaps even inspired people to chill out for a moment or two, instead of letting whatever stresses they are harboring weigh them down.

At least that is the effect this beyond-creative pregnancy reveal had for me. I'm literally just thinking about Ross's ribbon-like voice, and how completely pacifying it is to watch his brush paint the canvas.
Still, it seems even Ross can't resolve some tensions, namely those between a wife and her mother-in-law. The mom in the photo writes in the comments on the Reddit thread about how overbearing her hubby's mother is. Not sure how she got on that subject, but maybe watching a few episodes of "Joy of Painting" will help?
