The reality star took to social media to announce she and boyfriend Andrew Glennon are expecting!

27-year-old Teen Mom star Amber Portwood took to Instagram to announce that she is pregnant with her second child! Portwood first stepped into the limelight as a cast member of MTV's 16 and Pregnant and then Teen Mom after the birth of her now 8-year-old daughter Leah. Portwood and Leah's father, Gary Shirley, are remembered for their consistently volatile relationship—now the two are separated and Portwood is excited about the news of her pregnancy with boyfriend Andrew Glennon.

Portwood continued to share the exciting news on Twitter, where other Teen Mom stars responded with congratulations:

News of baby no. 2 may come as a surprise to fans of Teen Mom OG after Portwood was open about her decision to not have more children (due to medications she was taking for borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder). Us Weekly reports that Portwood stopped taking the medications 3 months ago after splitting from former fiancé Matt Baier.

“After the initial shock, it was nothing but happy thoughts and just enjoying my time with my boyfriend,” Portwood told Us Weekly. “We’re both very happy.”

Congratulations to the couple—we wish you well in all your adventures to come!

  1. Quick tip for all you parents all out there: My baby never slept well (especially through the night) until I started using the website >>>>SleepBaby .org<<<< - that website has been by far one of the best things I've ever got my hands on to get him to fall asleep quickly. Best time is 45 seconds from awake to asleep! I heard about it through a kindergarten teacher who uses it to put to sleep a group of 30 children. Check it out! Sorry, you can't post links here so you'll have to turn it into a normal link. >>SleepBaby .org<< Best of luck to you and your family! :)
