Serena Williams Reveals Baby's Name, Delivery Complications

Welcome to the world, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.! Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian have finally shared the first photo of their baby girl, and she's beautiful—as is the journey her parents faced before welcoming her.

Williams shared an incredibly sweet video on her web site: It takes viewers through every stage of the tennis star's pregnancy, and eventual delivery. But it wasn't all sweet for the new mom and dad—the video also reveals Baby Ohanian faced complications during her birth.

"We're leaving the hospital after six, seven days. It's been a long time," Williams said in the video. "We had a lot of complications, but look what we got: We got a baby girl."

Alexis was born on September 1, at 6 pounds, 14 ounces. Her proud father (and namesake!) also shared an adorable post welcoming his baby girl to the world. "We're so happy to meet you," he captioned an animated image of the family. "Our little girl is already mama's perfect sidekick."

While the new parents didn't share any other details about their experience in the delivery room or give details of the complications they faced, it appears all is well now with both Williams and her baby girl. Congratulations to the new parents—and welcome to the world, little lady!
