Stop the world: Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting again! The pregnancy—probably the second-most anticipated ever (after her first, of course)—was confirmed this morning by an official palace announcement.
Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child.
The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.
As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.
Poor Kate! The Duchess' awful morning sickness with Prince George was well-documented, and it's a huge bummer for her that it's back again. (Pregnancy symptoms can be different with second pregnancies, after all.)
No word on when Prince George will officially become a big brother, but according to People.com, Kate is "believed to be fewer than three months pregnant."
We hope Kate feels better soon, and are so excited that Prince George is going to be a big brother! Congrats to the Royal family!
