False—for now! Rumors have been circulating the internet that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting royal twins, making Prince George a big brother (yes, despite Kate's completely flat stomach). But according to Prince William, George will have to wait for siblings to play hide 'n' seek with around Buckingham Palace.
While attending a St. Patrick's Day celebration in Aldershot, England, the Prince confirmed "One [child] is enough at the moment." But didn't rule out future kids. "Maybe one day," he said. Just not now!
I'm not sure why people get in such a hurry for new moms to turn around and have a second right away. It's as if you're not even allowed to enjoy the time you have with your baby. Literally days after I had my son Logan, people started asking, "So when are you going to make Logan a big brother?" At that point, I was still sleep deprived and placing diapers on backwards. (Oops!) The last thing on my mind was when was I going to have another one!
But to each her own! Kudos to multitasking mommies like Jessica Simpson and Drew Barrymore. Jessica's daughter, Max, is 14 months older than baby bro Ace, and Drew told me daughter, Olive, will be 19 months old, when her second daughter is born. Some moms would much rather have kids close in age, so they can get the diaper duty over with, and have kids who can grow up to be close friends and schoolmates.
