Oops, She's Pregnant Again! See the Britney Spears-Inspired Pregnancy Announcement

Britney Spears pregnancy announcement video
If you think you went all out when you announced your pregnancy, I'm here to bring you a a viral video that will probably put your efforts to shame. (Sorry!)

Jarred and Machel Green—who are both huge Britney Spears fans—are expecting their second baby come fall. Already parents to a 3-year-old son, the couple decided to go all out with a highly produced, five-minute video that announces the big news by way of a series of Spears covers with lyrics tweaked to spell it out!

Mom Machel is the star of the video, which covers the first half of her pregnancy set to the tune of hits like "Oops! I Did It Again" (remade as "Pregnant Again"), and "Toxic" reimagined as—wait for it—"Nauseous."

All the while, the second-time mama-to-be knocks off the hitmaker's famous dance moves... but in decidedly different environments. For instance, in an interpretation of "Slave For You"—in which she tells her friends that she's "A-Voiding You" in order to keep her early-pregnancy secret—she dances through the aisles of Target, a major impending parenthood pit stop. She covers her face with shades in the sunglasses section, and ducks through the baby-gear aisles while she sings, "I'm avoiding you... I've got a secret. Too soon to spill it!"

And like any good pregnancy video, it contains a sequence with a big gender reveal, handled in this case with a paint gun photo shoot (a major trend in gender-news sharing). Check out the whole video here:

I'm not gonna lie: I feel like this video is pretty over the top, especially compared to my own super-understated and literal reveal to friends and family. (When I found out it was twins, I was too nervous to approach it any other way!)

But I do love how mom Machel described the approach to E! News. "My hubby Jerrad and I hope our kids grown up and find that their parents worked really hard, followed their own paths, weren't afraid to go after their dreams, were kind to others, and always found time to play. Just because you're an adult doesn't mean you can't still play."

Amen to that! And congrats to the second-time parents to be.
