According to sources close to the couple, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson will be welcoming a baby boy.

Finally, we have some Kardashian pregnancy updates: Multiple sources have confirmed to PEOPLE that Khloe Kardashian and her Cleveland Cavaliers boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, will be welcoming a baby boy next year! It's exciting news for the couple, who have been dating since September of 2016. This will be Thompson's second child—the basketball star has a 10-month-old son named Prince Oliver with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig—and it will be Kardashian's first child.

A source told PEOPLE, "This is such a wonderful moment for her: not only is she going to be a mother, she is going to be raising a child with a man she truly loves. Everyone is over the moon for them both."

Kardashian has been super-open about her relationship with Thompson, saying on her show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, "He wants to have about five or six kids with me and that's lovely." She continued, "We could start at one and we could grow from there. But now knowing I'm not on birth control is scary. It's like a really big step."

It is no secret that Khloe is extremely happy in her relationship with Thompson, especially after her long, public, and painful divorce from Lamar Odom. "It's such a great feeling that I have my happy back! It's from a genuine place and the most peaceful place I have been in for longer than I can remember," Khloe wrote about Thompson on her website. "I think when you're in love you definitely feel happy and healthy too," she continued. "I like that my relationship is very normal and doesn't need to be so publicized all the time."
