The next royal baby will be arriving soon—and now we know how soon. Will and Kate will welcome their third child in the spring.
Kate Middleton's Due Date Revealed
It'll be a spring baby for Kate Middleton and Prince William, per a statement from Kensington Palace.
We've known about the Duchess of Cambridge's pregnancy for a few weeks, but now we have a better idea of how far along she is. "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2018," a rep for the palace wrote in a tweet.
The soon-to-be mother of three hasn't been having the easiest of pregnancies, to say the least. She's reportedly battling hyperemesis gravidarum, an extreme form of pregnancy sickness that can lead to dehydration, weight loss and hospitalization.
The Duke and Duchess will be busy with their two children, four-year-old Prince George and two-year-old Princess Charlotte, for the next six months or so—and as if that weren't enough, they'll have a jam-packed travel schedule: According to another tweet from Kensington Palace, the couple will visit Norway and Sweden early in 2018.
We wish the Duchess a happy and healthy remaining six months of pregnancy!
