One expectant dad just couldn't wait to catch 'em all on the new Pokemon Go. And his wife's okay with it!

"I love when my husband plays video games," said no wife ever. Especially when she's in labor! But for one dad devoted to the new game Pokémon Go, the impending arrival of his third daughter was no reason to put his search for Pokémon on hold!

The new augmented reality game allows players to search for Pokémon in the real world using their smartphone camera and location. And it's not like dad-to-be Jonathan Theriot could help that he spotted a loose little Pidgey while his pregnant wife was bedridden in the maternity ward!

Theriot posted an image of the moment this dilemma overwhelmed him to Reddit and titled it, "When your wife is about to have a baby and a Pokemon shows up and you have to low-key catch it..."

Of course, the Internet loved this father's hilarious take on his Pokémon plight. And luckily, his wife Jessica didn't seem to notice. Soon the couple welcomed their daughter Ireland Sage via scheduled C-section.

And believe it or not, even after finding out her husband shared a photo of himself playing video games during her last moments of pregnancy, Jessica still says she supports Theriot's "Pokémon lifestyle."

Man, is he lucky to have her! Because I'm not sure I would be so understanding. I think I'd probably pry my husband's smartphone out of his hands and throw it out the window if he was looking for Pokémon while I was prepping for a C-section. But hey, maybe I'm the one in the wrong, here.

What's your take?

What a judgemental and horrible article to a two year old story. "I love when my husband plays video games," said no wife ever." Really where is your study oye evidence of this? How can you write a sentence like that in an article? It's 2019, there are wives out there who play more gamers than their husbands. Just look at your comments section on your page. I play alongside my husband everyday, our alone when he is at work. Secondly, if you are going to write about a story online, you should research it first before passing judgement on it.
