After months of internet rumors swirling, hip-hop star Ciara confirmed on The View that she and producer-rapper fiancé Future are expecting their first child together (which will be his fourth!). The "Body Party" singer made her announcement thanks to some prodding by the show's creator, Barbara Walters. When Barbara asked Ciara if she wanted to confirm the pregnancy rumors, Ciara said, "Of course! I would love to, so..." and she stood up revealing her sizable baby bump (which she's tried very hard to conceal in the last few months).
Co-host Jenny McCarthy quickly tweeted a photo of her and the mama-to-be with the message: "Congrats to my girl @Ciara so happy for your bun in the oven." But even before the pregnancy announcement was made, Ciara—who is an only child—shared with E! that she wants a big family. So even though this is Ciara's first child, it probably won't be her last!
Ciara and Future announced their engagement in October 2013, when Ciara was gifted with a huge 15-carat rock. Ciara admitted at the time, "I think I'll be part Bridezilla," she told People. "I'm not going to lie!" Now the question is, once the baby comes will she become a stage mom? I say yes, because with mommy and daddy's musical talents, this little one is bound to be a star!
TELL US: Do you think Ciara should have admitted she was pregnant sooner when the pregnancy rumors first started? Or do you think celebrities deserve more privacy when it comes to personal matters?
