ICYMI: Leo finally won an Oscar for Best Actor!
Ok, now that we got that out of the way, let's get down to the REAL winners of the night: all the pregnant celebs who took over the 2016 red carpet! Expectant mamas like Emily Blunt, Hannah Bagshawe, Anne Hathaway, and Chrissy Teigen pulled out all the stops when it came to showing off their best-dressed bumps on film's biggest night.
Blunt, who is expecting her second child with husband John Krasinski, debuted her tiny growing belly in an ethereal pale pink Prada punctuated with crystal embellishments.
Bet you can't say that 10 times fast!
The Sicario star—already mom to 2-year-old daughter Hazel—paired the flowy gown with equally flowy waves, long diamond earrings, and an on-trend crystal box clutch. Such a beauty!
Eddie Redmayne's pregnant wife, Hannah Bagshawe, went in a different-yet-equally-stunning direction. Leo may have nabbed the statue, but Redmayne and Bagshawe owned the red carpet last night in matching black Alexander McQueen. The couple arrived arm and arm—awww!—with the PR exec clad in a gorgeous black gown with a seriously amazing jeweled neckline. Her matching gold McQueen clutch and long loose locks with an off-center part brought the whole glam "I woke up like this" vibe home. Perfection!
Anne Hathaway, meanwhile, watched the ceremony from home—posting an adorable pic on Instagram of her belly decked out in a red-and-white heart tee next to her own Best Supporting Actress Oscar, along with the caption: "Favorite Oscar day ever. Good luck to everyone at the show!"
Then, just a few hours later, the actress managed to bring her A game to the Vanity Fair post-show party, where she and hubs Adam Shulman joined Redmayne and Bagshawe looking absolutely fab in a black Naeem Khan with a studded sheer gold overlay. Mad props for the quick change, Anne!
Still, the biggest award of the night goes to Chrissy Teigen, natch, who crushed the maternity game once again in a long-sleeve nude Marchesa with burgendy floral embroidering that hugged every single one of her perfect pregnancy curves. Bonus points for posting a pic of herself being sewn into that sucker on Instagram just a few hours before showing up on the carpet.
The good news? If you like the gown, modaoperandi is currently selling a similar version from the designer online.
The bad news? It'll set you back $10,995.
A small price to pay to look like a Legend.
