Chris O'Dowd and his wife British TV reporter Dawn O'Porter welcomed their second child—son Valentine—back in July. And the Bridesmaids actor recently stopped by Live to spill all the hilarious details surrounding the birth to co-host Ryan Seacrest and guest host Rita Ora.

"It's been really nice, " O'Dowd explained. "Having your second kid is like you just learned how to play a song on the guitar, and then someone is like, 'OK, now play left-handed! And hold this baby."

So relatable!

But as for those rumors making the rounds that he actually delivered his son, O'Dowd admitted they've been greatly exaggerated.

"We did have it at home," he explained. "We had a midwife. And my wife was there, which was excellent. And a friend of ours who was like a doula. And we did it on our bed. It was great. And I caught him, which was fun. We didn't know if it was going to be a boy or a girl. And Dawn, my wife was like 'So what is it?!' And I said, "It's a BABY!'"

Priceless! While O'Dowd is not the first celeb to have a home birth —James Van Der Beek, Gisele Bündchen, Jessa Duggar, Kaitlin Olsen and Rosamund Pike have all given birth at home to name a few—we def think his retelling of the situation is the funniest!
