The former Bachelorette isn't enjoying her doctor's orders to stay on modified bed rest due to her uterine irritability.
Ali Fedotowsky—who is expecting her first child with fiance Kevin Manno next month —is still on modified bed rest due to uterine irritability. And the former Bachelorette is pretty bummed about it.
"I want to be like, 'I'm great! Everything is fine!' But I'm not," she told People over the weekend. Why? Because her doctor's orders are pretty much keeping her from all the fun getting-ready-for-baby stuff she was looking forward to doing for her little girl.
Just yesterday she Instagrammed this photo of her in bed, counting down the 30 days til her due date.
30 days until our due date!!! Let the final countdown begin! Knowing that my baby girl's little foot with fit into this teeny tiny sock monitor in just a few weeks has me filled with so much emotion. Joy, fear, excitement, anxiety! I want to do everything in my power to keep her safe. So I did a TON of research of baby breathing monitors and decided to go with @owletcare 👶🏼 I wrote a heartfelt blog post today about how I came to this super important decision! Read it at www.AliLuvs.com (click link in bio) and comment on my blog because I'll be reading every comment on my blog and writing back! I want to connect with other parents! I want to know what you did to protect baby at night. Did you have any scares? What did you do during those moments? And good news! I reached out to the company and asked them if I could get a discount code for me and my followers and they were so cool about it and gave me one! Use code ALI20 at checkout to get $20 off The Owlet for your little angel. #30daystogo #babymanno #owlet #owletcare #babymonitor #infantcare #spon #aliluvs #pregnancy #finalcountdown
"Modified bed rest basically means that I have to take it super easy," she explained to People. "I can go places, but if I'm at home, I can't be doing dishes or laundry, or even walking my dog. I have to be on the couch with my feet up and resting."
Hold up. Is it just me... or does being forced to kick back and chill all day seem pretty damn awesome? Especially considering Manno sounds like the most supportive partner ever.
"He has been amazing," Fedotowsky said. "Anything, he will be like, 'Let me give you a massage. Let me help, I want to make you feel better.' He's been putting my shoes on for me because I can't bend down."
Seriously, this is one guy who sounds like he totally gets what our bodies go through. "[Ali] has Braxton Hicks contractions pretty much all day, every day, so when she is physical it is a hundred times worse," he explained to People. "You can literally feel the belly like a bowling ball."
"Since we've started talking, I've had two [Braxton Hicks contractions]," Fedotowsky then confessed.
Hang in there, girl!
