Adele has officially ended her world tour with a bang! In Phoenix Monday night, the powerhouse vocalist announced she was "off to have a baby."
We don't know if that means the mom of one is pregnant, although it's doubtful, since according to People magazine, the star mama toasted the end of her sold-out concert run with a glass of white wine. Adele joked about why she skipped the champagne her band was drinking, saying, "I can't drink it because it wreaks havoc with my acid reflux."
Um, so does pregnancy in my experience!
But more likely, Adele's proclamation that she's off to have a baby means the British songstress is all set to TTC. Sounds like a pretty good way to let off steam.
On stage, at the end of her nearly year-long tour, she told fans, "Give it up for me – I did it! I'll see you on the other side. In a couple of years I'll be back. You won't be able to get rid of me."
Adele, we so have no desire to get rid of you! But we're happy you get to spend more time with your 4-year-old son, Angelo, who adorably made a banner to celebrate his mom's last show.
"I just finished my 107 shows in 10 months," Adele captioned a photo of the sweet homemade creation that she posted to Instagram, adding, "100% live every night. I bloody smashed it, even if I do say so myself. You lot have been incredible, every night you've been so beautiful, loving and engaged. My band and my crew you made the whole thing turn. And my beautiful family made it easy for me to do. Big love x."
Here's hoping there's a follow-up announcement on the horizon, namely that Adele and partner Simon Konecki are expecting a little brother or sister for Angelo!
