Q. I uploaded multiple photos on accident?
A. If they were the same photo, we will just invalidate the additional photo when we validate votes. Make sure when you get your link for voting that you only share the link to one of your photos.

Q. I uploaded the wrong photo by accident OR I found a picture I like better, can you change the image for me?
A. Unfortunately we can’t alter entries after they’ve been submitted.

Q. How can I vote?
A. To vote go to http://photos.parents.com. Click on the "Vote for Me" button underneath the photo you want to vote for, enter the word verification, and submit.

Q. How many times can I vote?
A. You can vote once per photo per day.

Q. The number of Facebook shares on my photo is higher than someone ahead of me in the ranking, are you sure the ranking is correct?.
A. We don’t share vote counts publicly. Share numbers do show publicly, but they don't contribute to votes.

Q. What does "Unofficial Winner" mean?
A. After each week of voting, we validate all votes before determining a winner. We invalidate any votes exceeding the limits in the rules - 1 vote per photo per day, as well as any other votes that don't comply with the rules. For this reason, the photo ranked as #1 at the end of the voting period may not be named the official weekly winner.

Q. How is the winner chosen?
A. The American Baby magazine judges will review all of the entries and choose 10 semi-finalists. Semi-finalists will be selected based on the criteria set forth in the Official Rules. Semi-finalists will be asked to provide more pictures for consideration, and then five finalists will be selected to fly to New York City for a professional photo shoot early in 2013. One photo will be selected to be on the cover of American Baby Magazine next spring.

Q. How will the photos be judged?
A. As it says in the Official Rules, judging will be "based on overall appearance of the child as shown in the photo(s), personality of child as expressed through the photo(s), and quality of photo(s)."

Q. Will the judges really look at all entries?
A. Yes, they really are looking at all entries.

Q. Does the weekly voting play any part in deciding the cover winner?
A. No, they do not. Weekly voting only has bearing on the weekly Readers' Choice winners who each receive $250.
