Enter the women's restroom in most restaurants, bookstores, or coffee shops across the country and you'll find a baby-changing table. Walk into the men's restrooms of these very same businesses and there's no place for baby. Two bills in California tried to put an end to the diaper-changing inequality; both required changing tables to be accessible to men and women. But California Gov. Jerry Brown vetoed the bills in September stating that it's better to leave this decision up to private businesses.
