If you don’t follow commentsbycelebs on Instagram, we suggest you do—this account screenshots and shares what celebs are commenting on other A-listers' posts, that way us commoners don’t miss all the hidden, juicy action. Amongst the funny jabs, jokes, and disses was a glimmer of mom unity: Do we sense a celebrity mom group in the works, and how can we become a fly on that wall?!
One of our bonified mom crushes Jessie James Decker (who recently gave birth to her third child back in April) posted a breastfeeding selfie—showing off some major postpartum glow—with the caption, “Is it possible for a baby to want to be on the boob 23 hours a day?” That’s when mom-of-three Jessica Alba confirmed, “Mine did,” and mom-of-two Jamie Lynn Spears chimed in, “Same here…it’s all day.” (Wow, did we all just relate to Jessica Alba, Jessie James Decker, and Jamie Lynn Spears at the same time...? Motherhood is magical.)
This prompted multiple responses in the comments from other mommas with very hungry little ones:
“My daughter was nonstop too I finally started a feeding schedule that saved my sanity,” said body_burner89.
“Mom life brings us all together ?,” wrote devon_claire.
“Breastfeeding mom life ♀️ it defies the boundaries of celebrity versus average Jane lol,” said thenataliedonker.
“Baby's just ordering more milk. The phase when baby wants boob all the time comes in about when 2 weeks old, 5-6 weeks old and 3 months old. So that's totally normal ?,” @danmirmar.
This interaction is proof that celebs are just like us. Breastfeeding is a struggle for many and sometimes you just need your mom squad to confirm that you aren’t the only one who feels the way you do. It’s just too bad our mom squads don’t consist of a country star and two notable actresses. Who else feels like Blake Lively, Chrissy Teigen, and Kristen Bell should join this crew and create a mom podcast? We'd listen!
