Usher

Credit: X17

Known for: His catchy R&B-pop hits, such as "Yeah!," "My Boo," and "Confessions," which have earned him five Grammy awards.
Baby details: Usher has two sons. Naveid Ely Raymond was born December 10, 2008, joining big brother Usher Raymond V, who was born November 26, 2007. Usher also has three stepsons.
Baby's mama: Wife and stylist Tameka Foster-Raymond. The couple married on August 3, 2007. In February, Foster-Raymond suffered cardiac arrest during a cosmetic surgery procedure in Brazil, and Usher rushed to her side.
Why we're crushing on him: The adorable crooner is not afraid to get political, even speaking at U.S. House Education and Labor Committee hearings (along with Usher's New Look foundation participant James Harris) to promote service and volunteerism. Usher's generous efforts have earned him the 2009 Emerging Philanthropist Award, which he'll receive at the 18th Annual Nonprofit Summit in Atlanta. New Look, a nonprofit charity organization, mentors disadvantaged youths in America.

Ricky Martin

new dad Ricky Martin
Credit: Splash

Known for: Keeping our hips swinging with his hot Latin tunes, such as "Livin' la Vida Loca," "Shake Your Bon-Bon," and "She Bangs."
Baby details: Twin boys, Valentino and Matteo. The babies were already a few weeks old when their arrival was announced by Martin's publicist on August 20, 2008.
Baby's mama: The twins were delivered via gestational surrogacy.
Why we're crushing on him: Martin's charity, the Ricky Martin Foundation, battles child trafficking, violence against children, and other critical issues around the globe. As a longtime advocate for children's rights, the five-time Grammy award winner is certain to be a mindful and involved daddy. Plus, Martin was named one of People magazine's Most Beautiful People in 2000. We can't wait to see the twins grow into their swoon-worthy Puerto Rican genes.

Josh Holloway

Josh Halloway with wife Yessica
Credit: Splash

Known for: His devious yet flirty role as James "Sawyer" Ford on the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning ABC series Lost.
Baby details: The couple's first child is on the way, according to an announcement on December 8, 2008.
Baby's mama: Wife Yessica Kumala, who is from Jakarta, Indonesia. The couple wed on October 1, 2004, and originally planned to not have kids but changed their minds. "Basically, nature happened," Holloway told USA Today. "If you're in a loving relationship with someone, [having] children becomes a part of it. I don't know exactly when or how, but we're very open to either having our own children or adopting."
Why we're crushing on him: The 39-year-old actor who plays a rugged castaway is a true outdoorsman at heart -- he spends his free time camping, fishing, sailing, and snowboarding. We appreciate a guy who can handle himself both on-screen and on the slopes. There's no doubt Holloway will step into his daddy role just as naturally.

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler with daughter
Credit: Splash

Known for: Making us chuckle since the 1980s with his work on Saturday Night Live and in hit movies including Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and Big Daddy.
Baby details: Two girls -- Daddy's look-alike daughter Sadie Madison was born May 6, 2006, and little sister Sunny Madeline joined the family on November 2, 2008.
Baby's mama: Wife and actress Jacqueline "Jackie" (Titone) Sandler often appears alongside her husband in his movies. The pair wed on June 22, 2003.
Why we're crushing on him: Sandler is one talented dude who's not afraid to dream big. In 1999, he formed his own production company, Happy Madison Productions. Despite enormous success, Sandler stays true to his roots, often casting fellow SNL performers in his movies. We still can't get his hilarious and touching scenes from Big Daddy out of our heads -- that Scuba Steve bit is just too cute!

Pete Wentz

Credit: INF

Known for: Rockin' the bass and mic for alternative rock band Fall Out Boy.
Baby details: Son Bronx Mowgli was born November 20, 2008. In contrast to most celebs, the couple has not sold photos of Bronx to any magazines.
Baby's mama: Wife Ashlee Simpson Wentz, an award-winning pop-rock singer. The couple tied the knot on May 17, 2008, in an elaborate Alice-in-Wonderland-theme wedding.
Why we're crushing on him: Wentz is a man of many hats, and we can't wait to see what exciting endeavor he tries next. He has his own film-production company, emo-style fashion line, and New York nightclub, Angels & Kings. He added author to his resume when he wrote The Boy with the Thorn in His Side, a book based on his childhood nightmares. We're sure with Ashlee and little Bronx by his side, Wentz's life is a dream now.

Jack Black

Jack Black with son
Credit: Splash

Known for: Most recently, playing a bumbling and lovable panda bear, Po, in the 2008 hit movie Kung Fu Panda.
Baby details: Two boys -- Samuel "Sammy" Jason was born June 10, 2006, and little brother Thomas David joined the family on May 23, 2008.
Baby's mama: Wife Tanya Haden, daughter of the famous jazz double-bassist Charlie Haden. Despite attending private high school together, Haden and Black didn't meet until 15 years after graduation. The duo married March 14, 2006.
Why we're crushing on him: A sense of humor is always hot! Black is a member of Hollywood's "Frat Pack" -- the group of modern-day funnymen includes comedy actors Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Luke Wilson, and Owen Wilson. Black also tears it up as the lead singer in Tenacious D, a popular rock-comedy band.

Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman and son
Credit: Splash

Known for: His rugged good looks. Oh yeah -- he can act too. In November 2008, People named Jackman the Sexiest Man Alive. The Australian has also won dozens of awards and nominations for his work in musical theater, film, and television.
Baby details: After suffering two miscarriages, the couple adopted son Oscar Maximillian (born May 15, 2000) and daughter Ava Eliot (born July 10, 2005).
Baby's mama: Wife Deborra-Lee Furness. The actress, director, producer, and fellow Aussie met Jackman on the set of his first TV acting job. They married in April 1996.
Why we're crushing on him: He's been on our crush radar since 2000, when he first appeared as Wolverine in X-Men. But after he hosted the 81st Academy Awards this year, we fell in love with him all over again. He lit up the stage with fellow beauties Anne Hathaway and Beyonce in his utterly charming song-and-dance numbers.

Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods with wife

Known for: His mind-boggling talents on the golf course. Woods was a child prodigy who began playing golf when he was 2 years old. The charismatic athlete has won 65 official PGA Tour events since 1996.
Baby details: The couple's first child, a daughter, Sam Alexis, was born June 18, 2007. On February 8, 2009, they welcomed their second child, a son, Charlie Axel.
Baby's mama: Wife and Swedish model Elin Nordegren. They met in 2001 during the British Open and wed in a beautiful sunset ceremony on October 5, 2004.
Why we're crushing on him: Woods practices good sportsmanship. While many of today's professional athletes represent arrogance and greed, Woods always carries himself with grace and courtesy. He has a big heart off the golf course too. Woods has founded several projects to help disadvantaged children, including the Tiger Woods Foundation and Tiger Woods Learning Center.

Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey, Camila & Levi
Credit: Splash News

Known for: His breakout role of a high school girl chaser in Dazed and Confused plus a slew of romantic comedies like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and The Wedding Planner.

Baby details: The couple welcomed son Levi Alves McConaughey on July 7, 2008.

Baby's mama: Model girlfriend Camila Alves

Why we're crushing on him: This guy is so stoked to be a dad, he got a little TMI when he announced "My girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together." Sure he's kooky -- from naked bongo playing to shacking up in an Airstream trailer -- but when it comes to coolest-dad-on-the-block awards, McConaughey is a shoo-in.

Known for: Getting us cooking with his Naked Chef series of books and TV shows, founding the London restaurant Fifteen, which trains underprivileged teens to be chefs, and campaigning for healthier foods in schoolsBaby details: The couple are expecting their third child in April, and are already parents to daughters Poppy Honey, 6, and Daisy Boo, 5.Baby's mama: Former model and author wife Juliette 'Jools' OliverWhy we're crushing on him: Jamie and Jools have been refreshingly open about their struggles to have a baby. Poppy was conceived with the aid of fertility drug Clomid, and baby #3 took much longer than expected (Daisy was a surprise pregnancy, shortly after the birth of Poppy). Jamie also tells it like it is when people ask about his gender preferences; in a house full of girls, Jamie is openly hoping for a boy.

Known for: Playing the ever-elusive Mr. Big on Sex and the City.

Baby details: Son Orion Christopher was born on January 18, 2008.

Baby's mama: Actress and former bartender girlfriend Tara Wilson

Why we're crushing on him: Think you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Like the signature character he played on SATC, Noth seemed destined to remain the consummate bachelor -- until he became a first-time dad at age 53. He calls late-in-life fatherhood "very fulfilling, very amazing." Aww.

Matt Damon

Credit: X17online.com

Known for: Thrilling audiences as Jason Bourne in the Bourne Identity movies and being best buds with Ben Affleck.

Baby details: Daughter Gia Zavala was born on August 20, 2008, joining daughters Alexia, 11 (wife Luciana's daughter from a previous relationship) and Isabella, 2.

Baby's mama: Former bartender wife Luciana

Why we're crushing on him: While filming the latest installment of the "Jason Bourne" series, Damon couldn't stand being far away from his family, so he brought Isabella, Alexia, and his wife with him all the way to Morocco. Keeping his family close is important to Damon, which means that Isabella has more passport stamps as a young girl than Damon did at 30.

David Beckham

Credit: Photos by INF

Known for: Recently jumping the pond to play professional soccer for the LA Galaxy.

Baby details: Son Cruz David was born in 2005, joining Brooklyn Joseph and Romeo James.

Baby's mama: Posh wife Victoria Beckham

Why we're crushing on him: For starters, just look at him. Plus, despite the paparazzi craze that surrounds this family, Beckham seems to still focus on what's important. He recently told ESPN that: "[Having] three boys is difficult at times, but there's nothing that gives you that feeling of coming home and seeing the kids and spending time with them. Nothing better in the world than that."

Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt and family
Credit: Splash News

Known for: The man hardly needs an introduction, but he's recently starred in Ocean's 11, 12, and 13, and Babel.

Baby details: Twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline were born on July 12, joining Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2.

Baby's mama: Actress and save-the-world crusader, gorgeous girlfriend Angelina Jolie

Why we're crushing on him: Pitt went from single guy to father of four in less than two years -- and seems to relish every moment. Who hasn't melted over the adorable photos of Pitt carrying a baby bottle in his back pocket, or dropping the kids off at school? The question is, will Brad and Angie have more biological children? That gene pool seems too good to waste.

Seal

Seal and son Henry on beach
Credit: Splash News

Known for: Singing music made for lovin', like "Kiss from a Rose."

Baby details: Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel was born on November 22, 2006, joining Henry and Leni (Heidi's child from another relationship).

Baby's mama: Supermodel and host of Bravo's Project Runway, wife Heidi Klum

Why we're crushing on him: Heidi's said that Seal finds her the most beautiful when she's pregnant (of course, she's a freakin' pg-goddess, so what's not to love?). But what really gets us right here is that he started dating her when she was carrying another man's child, and has doted on Leni as if she were his own ever since.

Known for: Playing Dr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd on Grey's Anatomy

Baby details: Twin boys Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen were born in 2007, joining Talula Fyfe.

Baby's mama: Delux cosmetics entrepreneur wife Jillian Fink

Why we're crushing on him: Call him McDaddy. Did you catch the cover of Life magazine, where he struck a sultry pose next to his wife's bump? Sigh. Dempsey -- he of the best head of hair in Hollywood -- says the best compliment he ever received was his daughter telling him he was handsome. You said it, girl.

Jason Priestley

Jason Priestly

Known for: Playing a Midwestern transplant to Beverly Hills 90210.

Baby details: Daughter Ava was born in the summer of 2007.

Baby's mama: British makeup artist wife Naomi Priestley

Why we're crushing on him: Time to give up the high school dream, ladies: You are so not having Brandon Walsh's babies. That honor went to wife Naomi, who nursed Priestley back to health after a near-fatal car crash in 2002. Priestley is refreshingly frank about parenting, admitting that Ava's first night home was an eight-hour screamfest, and that they're ambivalent about raising a child in, uh, 90210.

Liev Schreiber

Known for: Most recently starring in Talk Radio, the Broadway hit that earned him a Tony nomination.

Baby details: Son Samuel Kai was born December 13, 2008 joining brother Alexander Pete.

Baby's mama: Actress girlfriend Naomi Watts

Why we're crushing on him: Shots of him toting Alexander around in a sling make us go all gooey (we love dads who aren't afraid of the sling). Plus, this dramatic actor also has a flare for the funny. Before Alexander was born he suggested Mega Watts-Schreiber for his child's name. Get it? Actually, in bizarro celebrity baby name world, this one would hardly raise an eyebrow.

Chris Martin

Known for: Performing as lead singer for the band Coldplay.

Baby details: Son Moses Bruce Anthony was born in 2006, joining Apple Blythe Alison.

Baby's mama: Actress wife Gwyneth Paltrow (heard of her?)

Why we're crushing on him: What woman doesn't dream of having a song written just for her? Martin wrote "Moses" for Gwyneth in 2003, and soon afterward the couple decided to name their son after the significant song. To celebrate the birth of Apple, Martin filmed a spoof Coldplay video. Sample lyrics included: Your cup's gone up from an A to D, That's bad for you but fun for me.

Johnny Depp

Credit: X17online.com

Known for: Starring as quirky pirate Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Baby details: Son Jack was born in 2002, joining big sister Lily-Rose Melody.

Baby's mama: French model girlfriend Vanessa Paradis

Why we're crushing on him: We've loved him since his 21 Jump Street days, but this former bad boy has done a 180 since the birth of his children. He's said in an interview that his daughter gave him a new lease on life, and that meeting her was like meeting his reason to live. Recently he halted production on a movie in order to be by Lily-Rose's side when she was in the hospital with a serious infection. Sounds like he'd, uh, walk the plank for his kids.

Tobey Maguire

Known for: That upside-down kiss he planted on Kirsten Dunst in his role as Spider-Man.

Baby details: Daughter Ruby Sweetheart was born on November 10, 2006.

Baby's mama: Jewelry designer wife Jennifer Meyer

Why we're crushing on him: Since he was missing the, um, equipment, to help breastfeed the baby, Maguire volunteered to be CDO (chief diaper officer). However, he admits that while he's got removal and wiping down, he tends to put the new diaper on a little too loose. And we all know where that one's headed -- who will prevail in Spidey vs. poop explosion?

Known for: Front man for the alternative rock group Bush.

Baby details: Son Zuma Nesta Rock was born on August 21, joining son Kingston, 2.

Baby's mama: Rocker/fashionista wife Gwen Stefani

Why we're crushing on him: Having grown up in a chaotic home (his parents were divorced when he was 11, and his mom moved away), this dad has said he wants to do better for Kingston. Most recently, Rossdale put recording his solo album as well as his budding film career on hold so that he could hit the road with Kingston on Stefani's Sweet Escape tour. That's our kind of groupie.

Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck and daughter Violet
Credit: X17online.com

Known for: Breaking into the industry with BFF (and fellow hottie dad) Matt Damon after co-writing and co-starring in Good Will Hunting.

Baby details: Daughter Violet Anne was born in 2005, followed by Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, born on January 6, 2009.

Baby's mama: Actress Jennifer Garner, of Alias fame

Why we're crushing on him: The paparazzi always catch Garner and Affleck taking Violet to the Santa Monica Farmers' Market, just like regular (albeit stunningly gorgeous) people. He's been recently quoted as saying: "I hope my career is what I want it to be, but that's not as important to me as being a father." Aww.
