Celebrities and tattoos are nothing new. But when celeb moms and dads choose to honor the love they have for their children by getting inked, we can't help but let out a collective "aww." From names to symbols, even replicas of their kids' doodles, each tattoo ensures these famous parents always have a piece of their kids with them.
The Honest Company founder decked her arm out with constellations of her kids' zodiac signs. Pretty out of this world if you ask us! The top tattoo honors her oldest daughter, Honor, with the Gemini constellation. The middle tattoo honors her younger daughter, Haven, with the Leo constellation. And finally, the bottom tattoo honors her son, Hayes, with the Capricorn constellation.
While Drake tends to keep his family life on the down-low, he recently added some new ink to his arm—a portrait of his son Adonis. The tattoo joins his collection of tattoos, including one of Lil Wayne.
About a week before Macklemore's daughter Sloane celebrated her first birthday, the proud papa decided to commemorate the milestone by scoring some sweet new ink. First, the rapper teased the tat by posting a pic to his Instagram of an artist drawing out the design. Then two weeks later, wife Tricia posted an adorable shot of her baby girl snuggling in bed with her daddy—who is now clearly sporting his baby girl's name on his chest. Awww.
One of the most recent additions to the roster of celebs with kid-inspired ink is actress Drew Barrymore. Barrymore got tatted on her right wrist with the names of her two daughters, Olive and Frankie, born in 2012 and 2014, respectively. She shares the children with her husband Will Kopelman, with whom she split after nearly four years of marriage. Barrymore shared her new tattoo on Instagram shortly after the split was announced.
The funnyman and "Parenthood" star has been married to actress Kristen Bell (AKA Princess Anna from Frozen) since 2013, and the couple have two children together, daughters Lincoln and Delta, born in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Shepard told Ellen Degeneres he's not a fan of jewelry, so he opted for a tattoo to show the world he's taken. The tat of a bell—representing Kristen's last name and his daughters' middle name—on his left ring finger contains tiny letters K, L, and D, for the three ladies in his life.
Angelina Jolie is no stranger to tattoos. Among her many patches of ink are seven lines of geographical coordinates on her left bicep, which represent her children's birthplaces: Cambodia, Ethiopia, Namibia, Vietnam, and France (where twins Knox and Vivienne were born). Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and the twins were also an inspiration to Jolie's wedding dress when she married her longtime partner, Brad Pitt—the back of the gown was covered in images her children had drawn. Jolie added the seventh line of coordinates to represent Pitt's place of birth (Shawnee, Oklahoma).
Model and "Project Runway" host Heidi Klum has four stars tattooed on her forearm, one for each of the children she and her ex-husband, singer/songwriter Seal, have together. Leni, Henry, Johan, and Lou are undoubtedly the superstars in this supermodel's life. Klum had Seal's name tattooed next to the stars, but began removing it after the couple split in 2012, after four years of marriage.
Many women are familiar with soccer star David Beckham's impeccable physique, much of which is adorned with tattoos. Those tats include the names of his three sons—Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz—on his back, and his daughter Harper's name along his collarbone. He shares all four kids with his wife, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham. More recently, Daddy Beckham showed off two new tats on his Instagram page, both drawn by his children: a sweet drawing on his palm by Harper, and "We love you Daddy" along his side, written by the boys.
Johnny Depp is another celeb who is no stranger to ink (let us not forget the infamous "Winona Forever" turned "Wino Forever" tat on his bicep). The actor also has daughter Lily Rose's name written across his chest, and his son Jack is represented in a flying bird on his forearm, similar to the ink his character Jack Sparrow sports in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies.
The Jersey Shore alum and her then-fiance Roger Mathews got matching tattoos to honor their first child, daughter Meilani Alexandra, born in 2014. The proud mama placed her tat over her left shoulder, with Meilani's name surrounding her tiny footprints, while Mathews' ink is on his left side. The couple is expecting a son in May 2016, and we expect these parents will be adding more ink for their new addition.

Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon shows love for her three grown children—Eva, Jack, and Miles—with each of their initials tattooed in a line on her upper back.
Rapper Kanye West has daughter North West's birthday (June 15, 2013) tattooed on his right wrist in Roman numerals (he also had his late mother's birthday tatted on his left wrist, also in Roman numerals). West and his wife, TV personality Kim Kardashian, welcomed a second child, son Saint, two and a half years after North, and West is considering a neck tattoo in his honor. In April 2018, West tweeted that he asked a friend to design a tattoo of his son's name and is considering different font options. It's too soon to tell if West will also get a tattoo for his second daughter, Chicago, born in January 2018, but it seems promising.
After son Noah was born in August 2013, Canadian singer Michael Buble tattooed the tot's name on his wrist. The tat was revealed in a photo posted to Instagram of the proud dad holding his infant's hand. Buble and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, welcomed their second son, Elias, into their family in January 2016.
Rocker Lenny Kravitz has a "Z" tattooed on his right ring finger in honor of his only child, Zoe. Kravitz share his grown daughter with ex-wife Lisa Bonet.
The "A" tattoo hiding behind singer Adele's ear is not, in fact, for her name, but for her son, Angelo, whom she gave birth to in October 2013. She also has her tot's name tattooed on the side of one hand, and the word "Paradise" on the other hand, which she's said represents how she feels about being a mom.
There are few kid-inspired tats as prominent as the one that rapper Wiz Khalifa has on his face. His son Sebastian's nickname, BASH, is tattooed on his forehead. Wiz shares Sebastian, who was born in 2013, with ex Amber Rose.
