12 Reasons We Have a Mom-Crush on Pink

With her laid back, fun-loving parenting style, Pink is definitely #MomBestieGoals.

We love Pink for her rock star take on life but we totally adore her for her philosophy on motherhood.

Singer Pink has always been larger than life, so it doesn't exactly come as a surprise that she seems to take on parenting with a no-holds-barred type of outlook. Pink, who gave birth to daughter Willow Sage in 2011 and son Jameson Moon this past December, has caused some controversy over the years (Breastfeeding a toddler in public? Why not!), but the "Just Give Me a Reason" songstress never seems to let the critics cramp her super-cool mom style. One look at her Instagram and it's more than obvious that Pink is one dedicated mama who always has her kids' best interests at heart. And let's face it: She'd be a killer addition to any mom group.

Here are 12 reasons we've got a big-time mom-crush on Pink.

1. She's raising a philanthropist.

Being that Pink is a UNICEF ambassador, her 5-year-old daughter is very aware of what it means to give back. Pink revealed that, in addition to knowing that not every child has a bed to sleep in at night, Willow is always ready and willing to give her toys to those in need. "We donate," Pink told People in 2015. "When one new toy comes in, eight go out. Willow loves being in charge of that. She loves looking around and going, 'Okay, I'm ready to give this one up, Mama.'"

2. She's also raising a fierce feminist.

Without a doubt, Willow is going to be a smart, strong woman when she grows up — look at her mama!

3. She's helping to normalize breastfeeding.

Any time a celebrity posts a photo of themselves breastfeeding to social media, it's a good thing. More people need to be comfortable with babies, you know, eating. So, when Pink posted this beautiful, sleepy photo of a nursing Jameson to Instagram, we couldn't help but smile. What a gorgeous scene.

4. She's not afraid to push the envelope.

Breastfeeding a baby is one thing, but it definitely takes some guts to post a photo of yourself nursing your toddler, as it's sure to cause controversy. In honor of National Breastfeeding Week 2016, Pink posted a throwback photo of a nursing Willow that was taken in 2012. "In honor of #nationalbreastfeedingweek2016 I proudly post this photo of a very HEALTHY, NATURAL act between mother and child. Taken in Helsinki by a very supportive and proud Papa," the singer wrote.

5. Her kids have seriously cool hobbies.

While little Jameson may be too young to form opinions on activities, Pink's daughter is giving every preschooler a run for their money. During a 2015 interview on The Tonight Show, Pink revealed that Willow's areas of interests include aerial silks, just like she uses during her performances, as well as motorcross like dad. When Jimmy Fallon held up a photo of Willow on a dirt bike, Pink said, "That was right after she got done saying, 'Dad, I wish you'd move so I could go fast."

6. She gives us straight-up #familygoals.

Need we say more?

7. She has a good sense of humor when it comes to parental exhaustion.

Recently, alongside a super sweet Instagram photo of herself and Jameson, Pink wrote, "Oh my god I'm so tired my soul has a headache. But I'm so okay with it. So whatever, I'm just gonna take this little catnap real quick wake me up in ten seconds."

We feel you, Mama!

8. She also has a good sense of humor when it comes to onesies.

How cute—and hilarious—are these?!

9. She knows the importance of letting go.

After photos of Willow on a motorcross bike hit the Internet, Pink, not surprisingly, was criticized—but she held her ground. When E! asked the pop star if seeing her daughter on the bike "scared the crap out of her," Pink's response was calm and measured. "What scares me more is having a breakable child," she said. "[Willow] needs to be out in the world and be able to do things for herself. She's very capable, she's very physical."

10. She tells it like it is.

Pink was never one to hide the fact that she enjoyed a good party before becoming a mother — and now that she has kids, she's not afraid to say she misses it. Well, some of it. "It used to be whiskey, tears and cigarettes," Pink told People of her vices in 2012. "Now it's [my baby's] kind of tears, no cigarettes, and the color of poop. Pure joy. I miss the whiskey, not the cigarettes."

11. She knows how to drop an unforgettable pregnancy announcement.

A few days after Pink announced that she was pregnant with her second baby, she posted this sweet photo to Instagram. So beautiful. So Pink.

12. She perfectly articulates what it's like watching your partner become a parent.

Not long after Willow was born, Pink said, "It's been amazing watching my man stumble awkwardly into love with his baby daughter." What a beautiful way of putting things.
