Get inspired by these envy-inducing baby showers where famous mommies-to-be celebrated their latest projects in development—a little human—with creative decor, food, activities, and more.
Baby number two is on the way for Danielle and Kevin Jonas and to celebrate, the lucky mama-to-be was treated to a surprise "sprinkle" party. "I am so thankful for my two sisters! Thank you for the surprise yesterday sprinkle/birthday. I am so blessed to have you both!" she gushed on Instagram. The couple was outfitted with plenty of goodies for their second daughter at the adorable pastel shower. "I am so excited Alena will have a sister and have what we have," she wrote just weeks before her due date. "Thank you to all my friends who came, you made it so special."
Things got “wild” at the recent safari-themed baby shower for Victoria’s Secret model and mom-to-be Candice Swanepoel. The gorgeous first-time mama wore a flowy white dress that perfectly offset the colorful decor. Stuffed lions, elephants, and giraffes adorned the room, and a table was set with flowers in purples, peaches, and greens, as well as animal face cupcakes, and a bright blue cake. Swanepoel reportedly also revealed her baby boy’s name on a decorative blue banner reading, “Anacã.” Guests left with animal-shaped gift boxes, and likely full bellies and smiles!

Former reality star Paris Hilton didn’t think one baby shower was sufficient for her little sister, so she did what any hotel heiress would do and threw her a second glamorous bash at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City! The mom-to-be—who is expecting her first child, a daughter, with banker husband James Rothschild in early July—already celebrated in May at Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles.
“Can’t wait to meet this little girl! #Aunt Paris” Hilton wrote on Instagram, alongside a sweet shot of her tenderly touching her sister’s growing belly. She wore a floor-length yellow dress with delicate floral embroidery, while Hilton Rothschild donned a shorter white lace maternity dress. Guests at the shower, including soon-to-be-grandma Kathy Hilton and Bethenny Frankel of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” also enjoyed a pretty pink-and-white cake topped with a jeweled baby rattle and rubber duck.
There were flower crowns at Erika Christensen’s baby shower—and not just the Snapchat ones! The “Parenthood” star—who is expecting her first child, a baby girl, with husband Cole Maness in June—celebrated with a boho-themed outdoor shower in Beverly Hills. The mom-to-be wore a simple white dress and turquoise beaded necklace, topping off the ensemble with a beautiful blue-and-white flower crown. Guests, including costars Lauren Graham and Mae Whitman, got into the action, too, by weaving their own floral headpieces. They showed them off in a cute group photo, which you can see, along with more gorgeous photos from the shower, in an exclusive story over on People.com.

Bachelor couple Catherine and Sean Lowe celebrated their baby shower with a pink flamingo theme! But don’t let the color fool you; they aren’t revealing the gender of their first child, set to arrive on July 5, according to E! Online. The soon-to-be dad said about the occasion, “Catherine had a wonderful time. They played games and ate ice cream and got silly with the flamingos. More than anything, it was a great time for her girlfriends to celebrate her and the baby on the way.” About 10 to 15 of Catherine’s Dallas friends enjoyed Coldstone ice cream treats, and guessed whether a baby bachelor or bachelorette is on the way for the couple. We can’t wait to find out, too!
Soon-to-be mom and plus-size model Tess Holliday celebrated her baby-to-be with a Hawaiian-themed baby shower. Wearing a vine-patterned, flowing gown by designer Simply Be, the glowing mama adorned her elegant up-do with a floral decoration featuring a pineapple, and even got an island-inspired manicure, while her fiance Nick rocked a Hawaiian shirt and cropped jeans for the occasion.
Donuts that spelled out "Aloha Baby," pineapple cookies, and a three-tiered, colorful cake were among the shower treats, and themed decor included huts with thatched, straw roofs. Meanwhile, the couple confirmed they will not be announcing their baby's gender until he or she is born, sharing a photo on Instagram of a onesie that says, "Gender is a drag."
When it came to finding inspiration for former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky's baby shower look, the mom-to-be looked no further than her baby's gender.
"I really wanted to wear some pink (since I'm having a girl)," the reality star wrote on her blog, Ali Luvs, adding "I wanted my dress to be long (so I could wear flats) and I wanted to show off my belly. I found all of those things in THIS dress! And I'm happy that it's not maternity because this dress is special to me (it's my shower dress!!!) and I want to be able to wear it again and again!"
Fedetowsky also admitted she went through many dresses—both maternity, and non-maternity—before she settled on the floral MinkPink sundress, which coordinated perfectly with the pink, white, and floral decor.
For the shower, which was held at the Malibu Café in Malibu on April 3, both kids, celebs (like fellow mom-to-be Lacey Chabert!) and the guest-of-honor's fiancé, Kevin Manno, were included.
Fedotowsky and Manno posed for a sweet shot that she posted to Instagram with the caption: "I love this man so much and I'm so grateful to be bringing a baby into this world with him."
Supermodel Chrissy Teigen and her musician hubby John Legend celebrated the impending birth of their daughter with a princess-themed baby shower in New York City on March 6, 2016. Both the "Baby Mama" and "Baby Daddy" sported bedazzled paper crowns with their new titles, and the social media maven Instagrammed a photo of the sweets table, which featured sugar cookies adorably decorated with pink and white icing to look like princess crowns, onesies, baby bottles, and prams. The celebrity couple is expecting their first child to arrive in mid-April.
The "No B.S." Baby Shower
For SYTYCD and "Dancing With the Stars" alums Allison Holker and Stephen "tWitch" Boss, a non-traditional baby shower full of energy, fun, and, of course, dancing was a must. The couple tapped celebrity event designer David Tutera to plan the February 2016 festivities, which he dubbed the "the no B.S. B.S. (baby shower)."
For the shower, featured on WE tv's David Tutera's CELEBrations, Tutera embelled the raw space with Edison lights, wood accents, succulent plants, and metallic colors—copper, gold, pewter, silver, and bronze—to create a fun, downtown vibe. "I wanted the event to feel fresh and unexpected, masculine yet sweet, as it was a baby shower but for a fabulously hip couple," he says.
tWitch's top request was candy, so Tutera created an old-fashioned candy shoppe complete with a vintage barber chair, antique trunks, and a vintage mining cart. As a surprise, 1000 metallic colored balloons droped when the couple entered the shower.
"Seeing our family and friends come out to celebrate our baby boy was the best gift we could have ever asked for," said Allison, who graces the March 2016 cover of Fit Pregnancy and Baby with her husband. "[It was] a perfect way to bring our baby into the world."
To celebrate the upcoming arrival of her baby boy, actress Amy Davidson enlisted the help of her "8 Simple Rules" co-star Kaley Cuoco, who threw the party in her backyard in February 2016. The shower featured a nautical theme, which paid homage to Davidson's husband who is a boat captain. In addition to the blue-and-white striped decor, a table displayed treats with the sailing motif, along with a cake in the shape of an anchor. As a sweet on-theme activity, guests, including Lacey Chabert, Ali Fedotowsky, and Haylie Duff, wrote messages in a bottle to Davidson and her son, who's due in March 2016. The party was sponsored by USANA healthcare products and produced by Good Carma Studio.
Pretty in Purple
In November 2015, country music singer Jana Kramer and her husband, former N.F.L. player Michael Caussin, celebrated the upcoming arrival of their baby girl in Nashville, with help from sponsors USANA and Sleeping Baby. At the shower, which was produced by Good Carma Studio, guests noshed on pulled pork sandwiches, buttered popcorn lobster, and kale and spinach salads. For dessert, Nashville's Ivey Cakes created a custom cake tower with red velvet, vanilla, and strawberry cupcakes; the sweets coordinated well with the lush floral arrangements in varying shades of purple by Bashful Rose. Guests took home 2XU gym bags filled with goodies, including USANA nutritional products, Mabel's Labels, Sleeping Baby items, and Tiny Devotion jewelry. Plus, each guest wrote heartfelt notes with advice for the mommy-to-be. The couple welcomed their daughter Jolie Rae in January 2016.
In October 2015, Kim Kardashian celebrated a camp-themed baby shower in Beverly Hills with her closest friends and family, including all of her famous sisters. Guests wore coordinating striped pajamas while sipping hot chocolate, snacking on Girl Scout cookies, and noshing on brunch-type eats. The theme was inspired by the cult '80s classic film "Troop Beverly Hills" and included teepees set up in the home. Kardashian, her rapper husband Kanye West and their daughter North welcomed son/little brother Saint West in December 2015.
In October 2015, TV personality Coco and her husband, rapper and actor Ice-T, had a "pre-birthday party" at Cedar Lake Events in New York for their baby girl Chanel, who was born one month later. Hosted by party planner and designer David Tutera, the baby shower included a checkerboard-style dance floor and graphic black-and-white tablecloths with bold red centerpieces and napkins, plus an adorable four-tier cake featuring figurines of the couple's fur babies—two English bulldogs. The pups were also in attendance.
"Good Morning America" meteorologist Ginger Zee's pumpkin-theme shower evoked a cozy seasonal vibe in New York City in October 2015. Hosted by entertaining expert Francesco Bilotto (pictured with Zee), the party featured light cocktail-style fare including turkey and roast beef sandwiches, mini bow-tie pasta salad, and veggie pizza. Bilotto also created a custom "mom-tail" with pear juice and ginger ale, which was served in a champagne flute with a mini glass pacifier ornament. For dessert, guests indulged in cupcakes, mini pies, pumpkin cakes, and Godiva pumpkin truffles. Even the games were on theme—guests were asked to guess the weight of a pumpkin that was wrapped in a baby blanket. Zee and her husband, NBC News correspondent Ben Aaron, welcomed their son Adrian Benjamin in December 2015.
For their baby shower in August 2015, Naya Rivera and her husband Ryan Dorsey chose a children's book theme with lots of elegant white and ivory tones. The table settings featured menus with illustrations of popular children's book covers like "Where Is Curious George," the "Complete Tales of Winnie the Pooh," and Rivera's favorite, "Love You Forever." Hansen's Cakes also created a sweet, larger-than-life version of the book for dessert. The 28-year-old actress' former "Glee" co-stars Amber Riley and Heather Morris attended the event, which was coordinated by Los Angeles party planner Sharon Sacks. The couple's baby boy was born in September 2015.

The party also featured a large flower backdrop and blue balloons in honor of Decker's first son. She and husband N.F.L. star Eric Decker are also parents to daughter Vivianne Rose.
A Grown-Up Gathering
The singer/actress mom-to-be celebrated with family and friends, including mother-in-law Diana Ross, at her sister Jessica Simpson's house in June 2015. The singer and her husband Evan Ross welcomed their daughter in July 2015. Simpson also has a son with ex-husband singer Pete Wentz.
Close family and friends celebrated the upcoming birth of the "Real" co-host's baby girl at a pink-hued shower at Casa del Mar in Santa Monica in April 2015. Party planner Mindy Weiss coordinated the gathering, which featured abundant floral arrangements of pink and white blooms from Mark's Garden set atop tables trimmed in tutu-style skirts. Guests, including Mowry-Housley's twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict, Adrienne Bailon, and Tamar Braxton, dined on fries and finger foods before digging into an adorable creation by Joan and Leigh's Cakes—a cake designed to look like an oven, with a bun inside! Mowry-Housley and her husband Adam Housley welcomed their second child Ariah Talea in July 2015.
At an outdoor party in March 2015, family and friends gathered to celebrate the upcoming birth of a daughter for actress and the "Real Girl's Kitchen" host Haylie Duff. The shower, which was hosted by her mom and sister Hilary Duff, featured a boho chic vibe, with D.I.Y. activities such as crafting bouquets and floral crowns by the Crown Collective in Los Angeles. Mini cupcakes, cake pops, macarons, and Steve's Ice Cream satisfied sweet tooths. The celeb guests included Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Lauren Conrad, Lacey Chabert, Kaley Cuoco, and Marla Sokoloff. Duff and fiancé Matt Rosenberg welcomed their first child in May 2015.
