Today show fans were over-the-moon for Hoda Kotb upon learning that the anchor adopted her baby girl Haley Joy, born on February 14, 2017. A little more than a year later, the proud new mom sat down with prospective adoptive parents Frank and Stacy Parrado. The couple believed they were there to discuss the adoption process, but they were actually there to receive heartwarming news: Their dream was about to become a reality, as they had been matched with a baby—a girl!

The Parrados, who have been married for over a decade, struggled while trying for a baby. After learning that their fertility challenges were linked to Frank's childhood battle with cancer, and it just wasn't in the cards for them to conceive, they took some time to reflect and weigh their options. Adoption seemed like a wonderful way to go. Of course, the road to being matched with a child is often a long, difficult one. It had been two years since they got the ball rolling.

"What's the hardest part of the wait?" Hoda asked Frank.

"There's good days and there's bad days," he said. "There's days where you wonder how much further you can go. Stacy [and I], we push each other through those days." Stacy then noted, "Our adoption agency, they said to us when we first went there, 'One of the things to remember: it's not a matter of if you're going to be become parents, it's just a matter of when.' So we know that it's going to happen, and it's going to happen when it's meant to happen for us."

And that's when Hoda said, "Well, I think the day is today. I think you've been matched."

The Parrados reacted with disbelief, shock, tears, and so much emotion. And one week later, they met their baby girl, Addison Emily. You just have to see the gorgeous moment—and have tissues handy.

What an absolutely beautiful family. Congratulations to the Parrados!
